The Footscray Canoe Club is pleased to announce that we are able to open the club as of Monday June 22 2020, in a restricted manner. In accordance with state and governing body guidelines, we have come up with a Safety Management Plan and new club by-laws, in order to ensure an orderly and safe return to our sport.
The controls identified in the FCC COVID-19 Safety Management Plan are enabled through a condensed set of FCC COVID-19 By-Laws. The re-opening of the FBC gym and Change rooms will be determined by the Footscray Boat Club Committee in due course.
Please read the FCC COVID-19 By-Laws prior to using the Boat Club and Canoe Club facilities. There are strict limitations on registration, social distancing and cleaning guidelines which must be adhered to. Signs and distancing markers have been installed throughout the shed for your information.
The FCC safety plan has been approved by Paddle Victoria on June 17, 2020.
